The Audio tape ministry is a way for people who are unable to attend church to hear the Sunday service.

The team

Made up of the Recorder, the Copier and a number of house visitors.

Aim

To provide a chance for pastoral care and friendship for users of the service.

What happens

The Sunday morning service is recorded, copied and packaged with an order of service and announcement sheet. At present, tapes are delivered, (usually on Monday if possible) by the house visitors. Tapes from the previous week are collected at the same time.

Users of the service

Mainly senior citizens, but anyone can request a tape. Delivery of the tapes by the house visitors provides the chance for pastoral care and builds friendships between both recipient and visitor. Links are retained with the church and allows information regarding the church to be passed on.

Cost

Tapes are available to both members/non members of Markethill church and the service is free.
